MethodCRM Support Levels

There are lots of free resources available to you through our website and blog as well as through the Method Community. However, in many instances our clients prefer to use our training, support, and customization services rather than the do it yourself approach.

We provide these services on an hourly basis where the prevailing hourly rate is either based on an annual support agreement or Pay as You Go. Here's how the annual support agreement works.

  • You agree to a specific monthly support level for 12 months.
  • You can use service hours from a future month(s). You will be billed for future month's services hours in the month they are used.
  • If you need more hours after using up all of your future month service hours, more hours may be used at prevailing rate of your current level.
  • You can upgrade your support level at any time by submitting a new support agreement form.
  • If you cancel your method account, any remaining support agreement will also be canceled.
  • Unless you submit a new support agreement form, at end of your 12 months, you automatically revert to the Pay as You Go level.

If you want to use these services, you will first need to download, complete and return the agreement form prior to us providing any training, support, and/or customization. This form is required even if you will be using support on a Pay as You Go basis.

MethodCRM Training, Support and Customization Service Terms

We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with training, support, and customization services. To ensure a complete understanding between us, these terms describe the scope and limitations of the services we will provide in this capacity.

What We’ll Do

We will provide training, support and customization services, as needed, to facilitate your business processes. These services may be provided at our offices via the internet, remote access, telephone, or email in addition to in-person meeting(s). Travel expenses will apply to in-person meetings. These services will be provided on an hourly basis with time rounded to the nearest quarter hour. Tasks will be initiated through email. Assistance requested by all your officers &/or employees will be addressed. From time to time you may require a time quote. For these situations a separate scoping and approval process may be needed.

LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC agrees to hold any and all information related to your business in confidence unless we are compelled to comply with a court order.

Support Levels

So you can get the type of support you need, our support levels are designed to be flexible. When you agree to a specific level, other than pay as you go, you are agreeing to a 12 month term with an obligation to use or be billed for a specified minimum number of service hours per month. During the course of this 12 month term you will be billed each month. At each monthly interval you will be billed for all service hours performed that month plus any hours to minimum. Hours to minimum are calculated as the specific term month times your minimum monthly hours minus the cumulative number of service hours used minus any previously billed hours to minimum. For example, someone with a silver support level at their 3rd month's billing would only be billed hours to minimum if they had cumulatively used less than 15 service hours.

If an approved quote based task has yet to be completed before a monthly billing, for the purpose of hours to minimum the quoted service hours will be counted as part of the cumulative hours used.

You can upgrade your support level at any time by submitting a new agreement form with higher monthly hour level indicated. This will terminate your current support level and start a new 12 month term with your newly selected level. Your next monthly billing will be prorated accordingly.

Support will only be provided for the account listed on the support agreement form. If you need support for a different account, you will need to submit another agreement form.

What We Won’t Do

Our work cannot be relied upon to disclose errors, irregularities or illegal acts, including fraud or defalcations that may exist. However, we will inform the appropriate level of management of any such matters that come to our attention, unless they are clearly inconsequential. We will make no attempt to adjust the records to reflect Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or to reflect proper tax record keeping. We will make no audit or other verification of the data you submit. We may provide reports that contain portions of financial information; these reports are for internal management use only. We will not provide any financial statements and will not perform any compilation, review or audit of any of the financial information. We do not at any time provide legal services of any type. We have not been requested to discover errors, misrepresentations, fraud, illegal acts, or theft. Therefore, have not included any procedures designed or intended to discover such acts, and you agree we have no responsibility to do so.

Without limitation, we are not responsible, nor liable, for delays, loss, or damage of goods and services due to or resulting from, but not limited to, method platform issues, server/ISP issues, acts of God, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind or the threat thereof.

The entire risk as to the quality and performance of Method or the application is with you. We do not warrant that the functions contained in Method or a finished task will meet the client's requirements or that the operation of Method or specific application will be uninterrupted or error-free. In no event will LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC be liable to you or any third party for any damages, including any lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate Method, even if LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. You recognize that LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC is not writing custom source code, and is instead configuring a platform for your use. As such, you agree to the following.

  1. LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC retains ownership of all custom configurations created in Method.
  2. The configurations cannot be exported or transferred to a different platform without express written permission from LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC.
  3. Portions may be repeated or re-used in other customization projects and used in standard Method applications, without your permission.
We must work together to complete all tasks in a timely manner. No guarantees on the final delivery date(s) are made by us. Any dates specified in task requests are to be considered as goals, not guaranteed deadlines.

What We Need from You

Specific tasks are to be requested through email with attachments used as necessary. An email should be used to schedule all telephone meeting(s). All data and supporting documents will be provided by you at your expense.

Communication

LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. eastern time, Monday through Friday, except for vacations and major holidays. Messages are usually returned within one business day.

Hardware and Software Warranties

During the course of our relationship, if we recommend a purchase and installation of computer or technological hardware, software, communications, or services by your company, warranties, to the extent they exist, are provided only by the manufacturer/vendor of those computer products.

Fees

All work performed to accomplish your tasks, including but not limited to Method configurations, programming, planning and collaboration/communication will be charged at the your prevailing rate and in accordance with your chosen support level as described in these terms and in the above section "MethodCRM Support Levels".

Billings for training, support, and customization services will be included with your monthly subscription bill. Your first month's support bill will be prorated to your support agreement start date or actual service hours used whichever is greater. If we are not the Method account manager, your monthly billing date will correspond to the your support agreement start date. Failure to pay these fees in a timely manner may result in your account being deactivated. If your bill exceeds 30 days past due, LaCrews reserves the right to cancel your account without notice and/or disable any custom Method configuration.

From time to time, you may request time estimates for individual tasks. These estimates are based on experience, an assumption of adequacy of needed resources, internal controls and the degree of assistance of your staff. Should any situation arise that will materially increase these estimate(s), we will advise you immediately. Estimate based tasks will be itemized per service hour instance.

From time to time, you may request a time quote for an individual or group of tasks. In these situations, we will use a scoping and approval process. For quote based tasks you will be billed for the number of service hours quoted regardless of hours expended and service hours will not be itemized per instance. If a quoted task overlaps a monthly billing period, you will be billed for a percentage of the quoted service hours in each monthly billing period.

Method Account Manager

If you are using these services as the Method Account Manager for the Method Account listed on the support agreement form, you understand that LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC is a subcontractor to you, that you are agreeing to these terms as if you are the Method Company Account Owner, and that you have been authorized by the Method Account Company Owner to make changes to their Method Account. Additionally, if you or the Method Account Company Owner cancels the Method Account, you are still responsible for all hours to minimum for the specified support level.

As our client, you alone are responsible for initiating and approving tasks. We will not directly accept direction from the Method Company Account Owner.

Refusal of Service

LaCrews Bookkeeping of Virginia, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Changes to These Terms

LaCrews reserves the right to update and change these Terms from time to time without notice.
